Brittany

Hello All,

I have known and greatly respected this person since I was twelve and it has been amazing! I met Brittany when I was twelve, she was my cabin leader and BAM I was like this person is what I want to be like I she is so selfless and adventures and AMAZING! I can honestly say I feel the same way today. She is an inspiration to me and I have been BLESSED to know her. I could go on forever. We got together to do some early morning photo shooting and needless to say I had a wonderful time talking, drinking, getting excited, and making pics!

Finding color/ Update

Hello you, (sounds kinda creepy huh?)
I just wanted to edit something and have fun with it. It's really fun when you go into a creatively bored process not knowing at all what your going to do. This was just something that came out of that boredom. I like it.

"Update stuff" (I think my Favorite quotations are the unnecessary ones)

So I'm gonna have a couple projects coming up that I will be showing. Which I am very very excited about.
Also Imma be doin some DIY'S. Cause ive caught the crafters/creators bug cough cough. Not goin away.
Hope you all have had a lovely weekend and are looking forward to an even lovelier spring brake.

Project: Silhouettes

Hello there,
For a long time now I've wanted to do a project about silhouettes. I love the shadowy effect that they can have.  I wanted to over lap pictures with a different background as well as edit them to make them look really different.  I FINALLY learned how to make it happen! So the bellow are my results I wish I could say I took these pictures but no. I just edited them and then over lapped them and then edited them some more to get them to look like a silhouette. I then edited the pictures even more. I am an editing junky. The only one that contains my own individual pictures is the last one. I will be doing more of these type of pictures later. I hope you enjoy!

Funny Little details?

So I am not at all sure if you read my last incredibly long post BUT if you did you have heard me speak about an incredibly inspiring artist Mrs. Beatrix potter. She was a lovely women that I so wish I had the privilege to meet! I think when you read her children's books you get a sense of her humor and when you look at her art you really just get happy and inspired so I just play around with my editing keeping in mind her art. I haven't had a lot of time to really do much editing or photography cause I'm graduating this year (YAYAYA!) and so that means I am quite busy but I hope you enjoy this lil picture I put together of her work and my own!

P.s more post's to come soon!

Mrs. Potters intristing art.

Hello there! So this is going to sound funny coming from an 18 year old but I find as I get older my interests are starting to change and  lately my interests are changing rapidly. Well I find myself coming back to the really simple things that would make a lil kid happy are starting to do the same for myself. See I got into the habit of perpetually finding an interest on whats happening now or next with some pretty stupid stuff that really stopped making me happy. So anyways I promise I'm almost done with this oddly deep moment for myself that has nothing to do with the tittle but I kinda just separated myself from that stuff. Now were getting closer to the tittle! So I separated myself  and I started getting into things that not only made me happy but made me want to work harder become more invested in my creativity and most importantly live out my faith. I volunteer at my local library and I usually like to put away the little kids books cause they are so CUTE!
One day I was putting away a BUNCH of books (its often more work then may be expected which leaves me tired and hungry!) when I came across a bunch of  Mrs. Potter books. Now all I had to see was the cover and I was taken with childlike joy! Its funny cause before I don't think I would have given them a second look but because my interests and well lets just say it I have changed so much it made me so happy to look at! That whole huge intro was my point! Yup I like to talk. ANY WHO I hope you kept reading to hear about an amazing artist named Mrs. Beatrix Potter! If you did give yourself a good pat on the back because well my friend you earned it! You may have heard of Mrs. Potter she wrote a very famous children's book called "The Tale Of Peter Rabbit"  and many other beloved children's books. My mom had tried when I was younger to have me read them but I never really got into them. Who knew at the age of 18 those books would spark my interest, but they did! Mrs. Potter did them all in water color and they are some of the most loveliest pictures and stories I have ever read. In her stories you can see her childlike enjoyment of purity and nature that I believe never left her even as she got older. I find this incredibly inspirational because I can feel that through her words and see it in her pictures. I really hope this helps you want to check out her books because they really are beautiful. I have to say I don't think it matters that they are children's books or how old you are. As long as you have a pure happiness about you I know you will more then enjoy these sweet sunny books:)

Some pictures I took of her books. The books of hers I took pictures of was "The Tailor of Gloucester" & "The Tale of  Jemima Puddle -Duck" Both highly recommendable!

one pic three wayz

When I was younger I'm pretty sure I spelled ways, waze. Yup I was one smart kid! Now that, that random fact about me is out of the way I thought I would share some different editing I've been doing.  I decided to take one pic I had took a pretty long time ago and try some stuff out with it. I think when it comes to editing the more fun you have with it the better. Its to me one of those things that can help make you more creative with your own work. In a way your setting a certain mood for the viewer just as a writer does with the first pages of a book.
Now something I would say to be careful with is getting in a rut, this usually happens when lets say you've been looking over a photographers pictures that you really like and you've become consumed (yes consumed) with trying to copy that image, or when you've edited a picture you like and after you are so taken with it that every other picture you edit starts to look like the same as the one before. DANGEROUS my friends, now I'm not saying every picture cant have a cretin theme quite frankly its up to you but I believe in contrast. Maybe you love taking pictures of landscapes and you've taken an absolutely breath taiking  photo of  blue and green mountains with a misty fog running through them from a slightly purple sky you wouldn't edit it the same way as lets say a snow covered mountain with a black and gray storm ahead would you? All I'm saying is look at the beauty in the difference each one has to offer and let that imaginative mind we all seam to consume have fun.

Grace

Hello! So I know that times can be hard especially when you least expect it and that has been me and my family resonantly and God has been seeing us through but I just wanted to lend out a hand of encouragement to anyone else who is struggling with anything. Whether it be with family or alone I would just like to say that I had to learn to put my hope in something greater then myself and because I did so I can see these hard times as a way to grow my strength and I know its like that for anyone who has faith. I would just like to say take heart and know that those hard times are fading but the strength we draw from them is everlasting.:)

Love Cash
