Hello there! So this is going to sound funny coming from an 18 year old but I find as I get older my interests are starting to change and lately my interests are changing rapidly. Well I find myself coming back to the really simple things that would make a lil kid happy are starting to do the same for myself. See I got into the habit of perpetually finding an interest on whats happening now or next with some pretty stupid stuff that really stopped making me happy. So anyways I promise I'm almost done with this oddly deep moment for myself that has nothing to do with the tittle but I kinda just separated myself from that stuff. Now were getting closer to the tittle! So I separated myself and I started getting into things that not only made me happy but made me want to work harder become more invested in my creativity and most importantly live out my faith. I volunteer at my local library and I usually like to put away the little kids books cause they are so CUTE!
One day I was putting away a BUNCH of books (its often more work then may be expected which leaves me tired and hungry!) when I came across a bunch of Mrs. Potter books. Now all I had to see was the cover and I was taken with childlike joy! Its funny cause before I don't think I would have given them a second look but because my interests and well lets just say it I have changed so much it made me so happy to look at! That whole huge intro was my point! Yup I like to talk. ANY WHO I hope you kept reading to hear about an amazing artist named Mrs. Beatrix Potter! If you did give yourself a good pat on the back because well my friend you earned it! You may have heard of Mrs. Potter she wrote a very famous children's book called "The Tale Of Peter Rabbit" and many other beloved children's books. My mom had tried when I was younger to have me read them but I never really got into them. Who knew at the age of 18 those books would spark my interest, but they did! Mrs. Potter did them all in water color and they are some of the most loveliest pictures and stories I have ever read. In her stories you can see her childlike enjoyment of purity and nature that I believe never left her even as she got older. I find this incredibly inspirational because I can feel that through her words and see it in her pictures. I really hope this helps you want to check out her books because they really are beautiful. I have to say I don't think it matters that they are children's books or how old you are. As long as you have a pure happiness about you I know you will more then enjoy these sweet sunny books:)
Some pictures I took of her books. The books of hers I took pictures of was
"The Tailor of Gloucester" & "The Tale of Jemima Puddle -Duck" Both highly recommendable!
